View Full Version : Considering Azbox
Hi
Im currently considering buying a Azbox. I know that the FW is immature, but will it work for the basic functions?
Using emu to decrypt channels, like CCcam or Mgcamd?
Is recording working propely?
In what areas are the FW immature? I know this info can be found in several threads but im missing the overview.
Thank you for any help.

I have the elite model picture is great on it , still some bugs need to be solved on the firm .
Native CCcam working except the card reader .
If I was to buy a new I would go for Premium +

Ok, so I can buy this without worrying to much. Normal daily operations works allright - watching TV (with mgcamd or CCcam - no card), recording and using the media player (playing from a NAS)
Now I just need to talk to the wife for the funding :-)
Thank you again
Is this what others call AZbox HD Premium Plus?

That is the ordinar Premium NOT + version , but you look here , this shop I recoment they are very quick to deliver , eg order today and you have it 1-2 days later + it is a official dealer
Is the only difference between ordinary and Plus versions that it supports twin tuners???

yes , if you dont need dvb-S2 / dvb-S2 tuner combination , the premium is ok for dvb-s2 + dvb-t or dvb-c or single tuner , I have elite with Dvb-s2 and dvb-t2
Im not sure if I read the bugs correct but
Is it possible to start playing a recorded movie while it is still recording the movie?
