It seems there is a problem with clones and the internal cardreader ( it have something to do with dvb_modules ) I have a idea how to bypass it with the use off a external cardreader eg. a Smargo , now I just wonder if anybody have tryed it !!.

Latest drivers 14-10-2009 modified for dm800 clones

For dreambox 800 clone with BL70 and above support



Method of installation:As original by dcc-upload packages
no special bootloader needed and any image in flash

Advantages:
Fix remote control problems
Fix cardreader problems for dm800 support BL70 and above
Fix tuner failed conditions


Warning:Experiments done on these files were successful but few,so test them at your own responsibility

I have a new DM800 with files for dm800 clone installed. I cannot get a original conax card for CD to work. How can I see that the cardreader is working or not?

1) whats your bootloader version ?

2) what image are you using ?

I have a bootloader # 72 ( it was delivered with gemini 4.40 )

and the card reader wasnt working on it , then I flashed it through webinterface using this patched gemini 4.6 gemini2-460-dm800-200912241409_8a8f8.nfi () , now cardreader is working

Now I have flashed it with Gemini 4.6 but I still cannot get the original conax card to work in the internal cardreader.

What cam are you using ??

I have tested viaccess card in the internal card reader on my 800 clone with CCcam 2.1.3 and it reconize it and decodes it , also check that chip on card is facing the right way

NewCamd was included in Gemini 4.6.
I don't know how to install CCcam 2.1.3, it is not among the plugins I can download.
I am using Conax CD card.
