Smartcard and DM8000

I have searched the forum but "Still haven't found what I'm loocking for"
I have a DM8000 with Conax original cam and card.
The cam is too old and does not support dual channels.
My question is:
Now that the DM8000 has two smarcardslots there must be an esy way to install a softcam for the smardkard slots. :luck:
If not what is the bes cam to buy? I have a Magic card with programmer but that one is probably too old now.
Anyone have a clue?

What image have you in the box ? original or a aternative eg Gemini ?

I have Nabilos latest right now but I am prepared to change, I have not grown attached to it yet :). Befor I had Gemini in my other boxes.

You could test the different emu like CCcam MGcam or newcamd , I recall my c+ nordic card worked with newcamd ( but thats almost 10 years ago )
and dont have the conax module inserted ONLY the card for the emu to read .

To install a emu , eighter manual install by copy the tar file to temp , or download via image ( feature in Gemini )

I have installed latest Peter Pan and it works great, even dual channels now.
