Parental lock

Hello i am a new user of Dreambox.I live in Denmark.I have a Dreambox 500s .I get the box from one of my frnd.i can't give much detail about this because the Parental lock is pasword protected and i don't get pasword 4m my frnd...pls help me

To fix it telnet to the box from a PC. When you have a connection, type: cd /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/ vi config then: Scroll down until you see keys starting with i:/elitedvb/pins/. Press the INS key to set vi to edit mode, and set the values of "enableparentallock" en "enablesetuplock" to all zero's. Press ESC to leave edit mode, press ZZ (capitals) to save and exit. Now type reboot to restart your box. Do not use your remote, you need a forced reboot to prevent enigma from overwriting your changes.
