A new PLi® Dreambox release is available.

This release contains an updated Iolite DM7025 image and the brandnew Iolite DM800 image!

The Original PLi® 'Iolite May 2008' suite contains the following images:

Warnings:
- Online software update will almost certainly fail on your dm7025 (not enough free storage)
We advise you to flash the new nfi, instead of attempting to update.
- It`s prefered do a clean install only!
- Because of the new initial setup wizard, your settinglist will be cleared when you update to the latest version.
Simply restoring an old backup will not work, because that triggers the wizard to restore to the default again.
(if you want to restore an old backup manually, add 'config.misc.defaultchosen=false' to /etc/enigma2/settings to avoid the settinglist to be cleared)

If online update does not work out for you, you can try the -force-overwrite install option via the commandline, else download the lastest nfi, and reflash.

Our OpenPLi project, is going to be the basis on which we continue our development of the PLi® Dreambox software, with means you can get the latest software for your set top box on demand rather than having to wait so for our users nothing will change, we have only made the code public as the GPL license requires us to do.

For everybody who knows how to develop and program, it is now possible to build your own PLi® based software (image).

We encourage other developers, and skinners for example, to join us in the OpenPLi project, if you like you can get a hold of a separate branch to do your own Plugin or Enigma/Python development.
